Technical Sales Consultant

This is an important hire for EMMa and will report directly into the CRO. The right candidate will be excited to pioneer a genuinely new technology that can transform how technical sales are carried out, from initial client contact through to delivery. EMMa is currently a small company, so a willingness to add value in any area is required and an attitude of taking ownership will also be necessary.

Preferred qualifications and experience

  • You will have worked in a technical sales role. Maybe as a particularly as an account executive but probably as a presales engineer/consultant and you will need to understand the life and pressures of presales professionals
  • You will be comfortable presenting new ideas and concepts and you must not be tied to ppt decks!
  • You will have carried out client discovery on a number of occasions and turned those into solutions to play back to the client
  • Even if you have not led commercial conversations, you will need to be comfortable in that type of discussion
  • You should be eager to demonstrate cool, new tech. You should have read up on Don Carmichael, John Care, Chris White, Peter Cohan and other presales luminaries regarding demonstration methodologies
